How I Unlock Aura Extraction and Saturate the Aura Field
I turn Florinol into Aurixite, shake it into Auralite, unlock the Aura Extractor at 1,000 Auralite, then use Nanobots to reach 10,000 Aura.

My Aura route is:
Florinol
→ Synthesizer
→ Aurixite
→ Shaker
→ Auralite
→ produce 1,000 Auralite
→ unlock the Aura Extractor
→ place it to attract Auralite and trigger crystallization
→ direct the Nanobot Swarm onto the crystals
→ extract Aura
→ reach 10,000 Aura to complete Aura Saturation
The first hard gate is 1,000 Auralite produced via a Shaker from Aurixite.
The final production target on this system is 10,000 Aura.
Once the saturation threshold is confirmed, I stop scaling Aura and return to the Tech Tree.
If the Aura Extractor is missing, I check the Auralite requirement and Tech Tree first. If I cannot remove an existing Aura Extractor, I clear the Auralite Crystals inside its spawn area before trying again.
Aura was the first late-game production system where I could have all the right machines available and still be working on the wrong part of the chain.
The important thing for me was to stop thinking of Aura as:
build the Aura Extractor and wait.
It is another production sequence with several separate checks:
make the precursor
→ refine it into the correct material
→ meet the Extractor unlock requirement
→ create crystal growth
→ give the Nanobot Swarm something to mine
→ increase Aura
→ finish the 10,000-Aura saturation target.
Once I treat each step separately, it becomes much easier to see whether I need more production, more Nanobots, or simply one missing research unlock.
I Start With Florinol, Not With the Aura Extractor
I do not begin the Aura stage by searching the Building menu for an Aura Extractor.
The first machine I care about is the Synthesizer.
Once I unlock it, Zoe explains exactly what the new branch does:
Florinol → Aurixite.
Aurixite is the first material specifically tied to Aura Extraction.
That is why I do not dismantle my Florinol production once Tier 5 is behind me.
Florinol still feeds another progression system.
If that upstream line is unstable, I fix the actual conversion chain in my Florin and Florinol guide before adding more Aura machinery.
There is no benefit in building a larger Auralite section if Florinol cannot keep the Synthesizer supplied.
The Synthesizer Turns Florinol Into Aurixite
The first new conversion is:
Florinol
→ Synthesizer
→ Aurixite.
Aurixite is not the material that satisfies the Aura Extractor requirement by itself.
It still needs one more processing step.
I send the Aurixite onto a Shaker, which produces Auralite.
So the production chain I keep in my head is:
Florinol
→ Synthesizer
→ Aurixite
→ Shaker
→ Auralite.
That distinction matters because the Tech Tree is not checking how much Aurixite I made.
It specifically wants:
1,000 Auralite produced via a Shaker from Aurixite.
If my counter is not moving, I trace the chain in that order.
Is Florinol entering the Synthesizer?
Is Aurixite coming out?
Is the Aurixite actually reaching a Shaker?
Is Auralite being produced?
I answer those questions before I build another machine.
I Need 1,000 Auralite Before the Aura Extractor Unlocks
The first hard number in the Aura route is:
1,000 Auralite.
The Tech Tree describes the requirement as:
Reach 1,000 Auralite produced (via Shaker from Aurixite) to unlock Aura Extractor.
Until that counter reaches 1,000 / 1,000, I keep the existing line running.
I do not:
- search every Building category again
- add unrelated research
- rebuild the Florinol factory
- or assume the Aura system is bugged
if the actual requirement is still incomplete.
Once I know the production chain works, waiting for the final part of the 1,000 is usually better than redesigning it.
I Return to the Tech Tree Once 1,000 Auralite Is Complete
Completing the production target makes the Aura Extractor available in the Tech Tree.
It does not mean I should already expect the building to be sitting in my normal build list.
Zoe confirms what comes next:
place the Aura Extractor
→ attract Auralite
→ trigger crystallization
→ use the Nanobot Swarm to mine the resulting crystal growth
→ extract Aura.
This was one of the easiest places for me to waste time.
The objective had moved on.
I knew I needed an Aura Extractor.
But I was looking through Buildings before completing the corresponding Tech Tree step.
I Give the Aura Extractor Room Instead of Hiding It Inside the Factory
I do not squeeze my first Aura Extractor into the tightest available gap.
Unlike an ordinary machine sitting between an input belt and an output belt, this system creates activity around the Extractor itself.
Auralite is attracted into its area and crystallizes.
Then the Nanobot Swarm has to reach that growth.
I want enough open space that I can visually answer:
Is Auralite arriving?
Are crystals forming?
Are the Nanobots targeting them?
Is the Aura total rising?
That visibility matters later when I need to diagnose why saturation has slowed down.
It also matters if I decide I placed the Extractor badly and want to move it.
Auralite Has to Crystallize Before the Nanobots Can Extract Aura
Placing the Aura Extractor does not immediately produce Aura by itself.
I first need Auralite Crystal growth inside the Extractor’s area.
This gives me a useful troubleshooting split.
If I see no Auralite Crystals, I check upstream:
Florinol
→ Aurixite
→ Shaker
→ Auralite
→ Extractor.
If crystal growth is already present, then the material side has at least reached the field.
Now I care about extraction speed.
That prevents me from solving the wrong problem.
I Direct the Nanobot Swarm Onto the Crystal Growth
The Nanobots are what turn Auralite Crystal growth into Aura.
Once the field starts producing crystals, I make sure the swarm is actually working on them.
My confirmation is simple:
Is the Aura counter increasing?
If yes, the extraction loop works.
If crystals are present but the Aura number barely changes, I stop adding more upstream production automatically.
At that point the problem may be the swarm itself.
I Do Not Confuse More Auralite With Faster Aura Extraction
This is where the bottleneck can move.
Early in the chain, I need enough Auralite to unlock and feed the system.
Later, I can reach a point where the Extractor has plenty of crystal growth available but the Nanobots are still processing it slowly.
Those situations need different fixes.
I use this rule:
No crystals
→ check or increase the Auralite supply.
Crystals are building up faster than they disappear
→ improve Nanobot throughput.
Nanobots are clearing the field as fast as crystals appear
→ then increasing Auralite production starts making sense again.
I do not expand the entire chain at once.
Late-game machines and research are expensive enough that I want to know which stage is actually behind before spending on it.
I Keep Extracting Until the Aura Counter Reaches 10,000
Making my first Aura only proves that the setup works.
It does not finish the progression gate.
The objective panel gives a specific target:
AURA SATURATION
Saturate the Aura field
with the counter progressing toward:
10,000 Aura.
This changed how I judged the system.
I do not stop because:
- the Extractor successfully placed
- crystals appeared
- the first Nanobots started moving
- or I produced the first few points of Aura
Those are checks that tell me the chain works.
The actual progression target is 10,000 Aura.
That is when I know I need a sustained system rather than a one-time proof of concept.
Once the field reaches the target and the saturation threshold is confirmed, I stop treating Aura throughput as the current problem.
I do not buy another Swarm upgrade, increase Auralite production, or rebuild the Extractor area just because those options are still available.
I return to the Tech Tree and continue with my Tier 6–7 progression route.
I Buy Swarm Capacity When Crystals, Not Auralite, Are Backing Up
Once Aura Extraction is established, I start judging upgrades from what the field is doing.
One of the clearest later options is Spiral Swarm.
Its effect is concrete:
adds 80 swarm nanobots that automatically orbit the Aura Extractor.
I do not buy it simply because it is a late-game node and I can afford it.
I buy it when I can see why I need it.
In this setup, the Aura total had already reached 2,626 / 10,000.
At that point there was no question about whether Aura Extraction worked.
The question was how efficiently I could turn the available crystal growth into the remaining Aura.
That is exactly when another 80 Nanobots becomes much easier to justify.
If my field has almost nothing for the swarm to mine, I would rather fix material supply first.
If the field is full of crystals and the swarm is the slow part, I spend on the swarm.
If I Cannot Remove the Aura Extractor, I Clear Its Crystals First
There is one especially useful placement trap here.
I cannot always delete or move an Aura Extractor immediately.
If an Auralite Crystal is still inside its spawn area, the game can block removal with:
Cannot remove Aura Extractor: Auralite Crystal in spawn area.
This is why repeatedly clicking Remove does nothing.
The building itself is not necessarily bugged.
There is still crystal growth tied to its active area.
When this happens, I:
leave the Extractor in place
→ target the remaining Auralite Crystal with the Nanobots
→ let the growth clear
→ try removing the Extractor again.
I do not demolish the surrounding factory first.
I solve the condition the game is explicitly blocking me on.
This is also another reason I like giving my first Extractor some open room.
If I need to reposition it, I can actually see which crystal is preventing removal.
Aura Extractor and Full Circle Are Two Different Milestones
I treat unlocking Aura Extraction and completing Aura Saturation as two stages of the same system.
Getting the Extractor running proves that I reached the mechanic.
Filling the Aura circle is the progression goal.
The achievement list reflects the same separation:
Aura Extractor
is tied to unlocking Aura Extraction.
Full Circle
requires filling the whole Aura circle.

On this page, the important part is getting enough sustained Aura throughput to finish the actual field.
I Stop Adding Machines Once I Can Identify the Real Bottleneck
By the time the Aura setup is active, blindly duplicating everything is usually the worst response.
I look for the first stage that is falling behind.
If Florinol is scarce, I fix the existing chemical chain.
If Aurixite is piling up before the Shaker, I improve Auralite processing.
If the Shaker is empty, adding more Shakers does nothing.
If Auralite reaches the Extractor but no useful crystal growth develops, I inspect the field setup.
If crystals are everywhere but extraction is slow, I work on the Nanobot Swarm.
If Nanobots clear everything quickly, then I consider feeding the field harder.
The question I ask is never:
What late-game machine can I build next?
It is:
Which stage is visibly waiting on the one before it?
That is the stage I change.
The Aura Route I Use When Something Stops Working
I reduce the whole system to one chain:
Florinol available?
→ Synthesizer making Aurixite?
→ Aurixite reaching the Shaker?
→ Auralite production increasing?
→ 1,000 Auralite requirement completed?
→ Aura Extractor research taken?
→ Auralite reaching the Extractor?
→ Auralite Crystals forming?
→ Nanobots mining the crystal growth?
→ Aura total increasing?
→ Aura moving toward 10,000?
If that chain stops at one step, I fix that step first.
I do not rebuild the five systems after it.
That is what finally made Aura feel manageable to me.
It looks like one large late-game mechanic from the outside.
In practice, it is a sequence of small production checks, and every one gives me a clear clue about what I should do next.
