Where I Find All 10 Mushroom Jack Radios
My story-order route to all 10 Mushroom Jack broadcasts, with area checkpoints that let me know whether Mycophile is still on track before the endgame.
Updated:
Quick Answer
There are 10 Mushroom Jack broadcasts for Mycophile:
- The Woman At The Door
- The Perfect Day
- The Missing Mayor
- The Song of the Universe
- The Insatiable Beast
- The Eyes Have It
- The Wickedness of West
- The Word on The Wind
- The Passage of Time
- The Path
Mycophile requires all 10 in one playthrough.
The count I use is:
early Arkham — 3
→ after Devil’s Reef — 4
→ after Akeley Memorial — 7
→ after Fish Market — 8
→ inside the wreck — 9
→ Elder Things necropolis — 10
If my total matches those checkpoints, I know the run is still on track.
Mushroom Jack broadcasts are the collectible I pay attention to while I am still following the main story.
The reason is simple:
Mycophile wants all 10 in one playthrough.
I do not want to reach the final area and then try to remember whether the missing broadcast was in the church, hospital or Fish Market.
Instead, I collect each radio when the story naturally passes it and use major area transitions as checkpoints.
That gives me a route I can actually audit while playing.
Radio 1 — The Woman At The Door
The first broadcast is:
The Woman At The Door
I find it during the opening residential route while I am still working on the first floodgate.
My route marker is the radio shop.
The same opening loop also contains the clues and electrical fuses needed for the floodgate, so I listen before taking the boat out of the district.
If the Apartment 5 safe or switchboard is still unfinished, I use the Fuse Box and Apartment 5 guide.
Running total: 1 / 10
Radio 2 — The Perfect Day
The second broadcast is:
The Perfect Day
I find it during the Redemption Church route.
My useful marker here is Printing Plate C.
The radio appears during the same broader Star Key side of the church district, before I finish the later bell and Trident progression.
If I am already working through that optional investigation, I collect the broadcast as part of the same trip.
The complete church route is in the Redemption Church and Trident guide.
Running total: 2 / 10
Radio 3 — The Missing Mayor
The third broadcast is:
The Missing Mayor
I reach it after the church route begins opening into the broken-crane section.
My two useful progression markers are:
Graveyard Key
and
Field Surgeon shotgun
I hear The Missing Mayor after obtaining the Graveyard Key and before the Field Surgeon pickup.
So if I already have the shotgun but my total is still only two broadcasts, this is the first route I check.
Running total: 3 / 10
This is my first major checkpoint.
Before leaving the early Arkham routes, I want 3 broadcasts.
Radio 4 — The Song of the Universe
The fourth broadcast is:
The Song of the Universe
I find it inside Devil’s Reef Hotel.
This one belongs to the lobby / front-desk side of the hotel.
I collect it before the Staff Key, Lorelei and backstage routes start carrying me away from the public section.
If I am still trying to work out the hotel access chain, I use the Devil’s Reef Hotel guide.
Running total: 4 / 10
My second checkpoint is simple:
when Devil’s Reef is finished, I want 4 broadcasts.
If I leave the hotel with only three, I know exactly which area contains the problem.
Radios 5–7 Are All Inside Akeley Memorial
Akeley Memorial is the only area where I actively track several Mushroom Jack radios at once.
There are three during the hospital route:
Radio 5 — The Insatiable Beast
Radio 6 — The Eyes Have It
Radio 7 — The Wickedness of West
That makes Akeley the most important Mycophile checkpoint in the game.
I enter with four.
I want to leave with seven.
Radio 5 — The Insatiable Beast
The fifth broadcast is:
The Insatiable Beast
I find it during the later upper-hospital progression.
My main marker is:
Caduceus Key
By this point I have reached the Second Floor and started collecting the later Pink and Yellow Evidence.
Once that part of the hospital opens, I know Radio 5 is close enough that I should not finish the area without hearing it.
Running total: 5 / 10
Radio 6 — The Eyes Have It
The sixth broadcast is:
The Eyes Have It
It appears during the same broad upper-hospital loop.
The clean marker here is:
Nightmare 1
I listen to The Eyes Have It before that first hospital Nightmare.
So if I have already defeated the first Nightmare and my total is still five, I know I should check the immediately preceding hospital route before continuing farther.
Running total: 6 / 10
Radio 7 — The Wickedness of West
The seventh broadcast is:
The Wickedness of West
This one appears much later in Akeley.
My marker is the:
Pink Prism Station
The radio comes shortly before I finish that final Prism cycle.
That makes it my last radio check before I treat Akeley Memorial as complete.
If I need the hospital floor order, masks or Prism progression, I use the Akeley Memorial Hospital guide.
Running total: 7 / 10
This is the most important mid-game checkpoint:
I do not want to leave Akeley with fewer than 7 broadcasts.
The hospital contributes three by itself.
Radio 8 — The Word on The Wind
The eighth broadcast is:
The Word on The Wind
I find it during the Arkham Fish Market route.
My route marker is the Eye.
Once Fay confirms her body has been brought toward another Eye and I am properly inside the Fish Market progression, I know I am in the correct section for Radio 8.
The broadcast comes before the later chain involving the song, hidden safe and electrical charging route.
I keep that late progression inside the full walkthrough.
Running total: 8 / 10
After the Fish Market:
I want 8.
Radio 9 — The Passage of Time
The ninth broadcast is:
The Passage of Time
This one has one of the cleanest location checks in the whole route.
It is inside the wreck.
Before reaching this point, I have already finished the electrical-station sequence and opened the wreck route.
Once I am inside, I listen before pushing deeper toward Fay and the Eye encounter.
Running total: 9 / 10
At this point the Mycophile count should be:
9
If it is not, I do not need to remember ten individual rooms.
I use the earlier area checkpoints to narrow the mistake:
- before Devil’s Reef: should have 3;
- after Devil’s Reef: 4;
- after Akeley: 7;
- after Fish Market: 8.
That tells me which entire section is short.
Radio 10 — The Path
The final broadcast is:
The Path
I find it in the Elder Things necropolis.
My marker is the late sequence where Fay can sense her body nearby and the portal route is pushing the story toward its final confrontation.
I listen before committing to that route.
This is not one I leave mentally marked as:
I’ll come back after the boss.
The campaign is already deep in its final progression.
Once I listen to The Path:
Running total: 10 / 10
That completes the full Mushroom Jack set for the playthrough.
My Mycophile Area Checkpoints
I do not memorize all ten titles every time I want to know whether the achievement is still on track.
I memorize six numbers:
3 → 4 → 7 → 8 → 9 → 10
They correspond to:
Early Arkham → 3
Devil’s Reef Hotel complete → 4
Akeley Memorial complete → 7
Fish Market complete → 8
Inside the wreck → 9
Elder Things necropolis → 10
That is the system I trust more than an endgame cleanup.
If I reach Akeley’s exit with seven, I know the three hospital radios are done.
If I enter the wreck with eight, I know Fish Market is done.
If The Path makes ten, the full sequence is complete.
All 10 Mushroom Jack Broadcasts Checklist
My final list is:
1. The Woman At The Door
Opening residential route
2. The Perfect Day
Redemption Church
3. The Missing Mayor
Broken-crane route after the church
4. The Song of the Universe
Devil’s Reef Hotel
5. The Insatiable Beast
Akeley Memorial Hospital
6. The Eyes Have It
Akeley Memorial Hospital
7. The Wickedness of West
Akeley Memorial Hospital
8. The Word on The Wind
Arkham Fish Market
9. The Passage of Time
The wreck
10. The Path
Elder Things necropolis
For Mycophile, the important part is not only reaching ten eventually.
It is keeping the count intact through the same playthrough.
That is why I check the number at every major story transition instead of waiting until the end to discover that one entire district is short.
