Minecraft Dungeons II Achievements: All 32 & How to Unlock Them

Quick Answer

There are 32 achievements. Finish the main story first while activating Minecart Stations, opening chests, collecting Enchantment Books, and completing side quests that are already on your route.

After the ending, clean up the named regional objectives, then finish all stations, all books, level-3 gear, level 100, and 1,000 jump-attack kills.

Trying to complete Minecraft Dungeons II in achievement-list order creates more work than it saves.

A large part of the list overlaps normal story progression, while the genuinely time-consuming achievements depend on a world that is easier to move around after more regions and Minecart Stations are open. On my first pass, I treat obvious objectives as free progress and only turn the achievement list into a checklist once the main route is finished.

That leaves three kinds of work: achievements the story handles for you, regional objectives worth picking up when they are nearby, and long counters or collections that naturally belong in cleanup.

Which Achievements Can You Leave to the Main Story?

Several unlocks do not need a separate achievement route.

Reaching Brave Haven, entering the Sift, defeating the required story bosses, activating the Note Block machine, receiving the Gift of Song, finishing the late-game boss sequence, and resolving the final dimensional conflict all happen while following the main progression.

That covers achievements including Home is Where Your Stuff Is, Brave the Unknown, Craftier than Witchcraft, Twisted Madness, Copper Stopper, Past Their Prime, Note Block Virtuoso, Friend of the Sift, Monstrous Crescendo, and Defender of Dimensions.

I would not interrupt the story to “work on” those separately.

If a required boss is what actually stopped the run, use the boss guide for that fight rather than changing the achievement plan.

Pick Up the Easy Progress While You Are Already Playing

A second group takes almost no dedicated farming if you remember the requirement when the opportunity appears.

One-of-a-Kind only needs a unique item to be equipped. When the first suitable unique drops, put it on long enough for the unlock to register, then judge the item normally instead of keeping weaker gear just because it is unique.

For Ka-BOOM!, save TNT for a dense group and kill 10 enemies with one explosion. Throwing TNT at several smaller groups does not add together; all ten kills need to come from the same blast.

Treasure Hunter reaches 100 opened chests, so opening chests during quests, side routes, Rifts, Dungeons, and later cleanup is normally better than creating an early chest-farming loop.

The same principle applies to the first upgrade achievements. Worked Like a Charm only needs one enchantment at level 3, while Worked Like a Talisman needs one level-3 Talisman. Choose something you are actually using rather than spending resources on the first disposable item that allows the button to be pressed.

Blowout: Follow the Creeper Candle Quest Past the Map

Blowout is one of the achievements where the short requirement hides a longer objective chain.

Start in Honeycomb Fields and find the Candle Maker. The stolen Creeper Candles have been turned into a threat to the village food storage, and the first useful lead sends you back toward the workshop.

Recover the key to the food cellar, enter the underground section below the workshop area, and clear the ambush. At the end of that route you find an Illager map showing where the Creeper Candles were placed.

Illager map showing Creeper Candle locations in Honeycomb Fields in Minecraft Dungeons II
Finding the map is only the middle of Blowout; you still need to return to the marked Creeper Candles and defuse them.

This is the easy place to leave too early.

Picking up the map does not finish Blowout. Follow the new markers through Honeycomb Fields and interact with the Creeper Candles themselves. If enemies are locking the interaction, clear the immediate fight and then defuse the candle.

The achievement should be treated as:

Candle Maker → workshop → food-cellar key → underground ambush → Illager map → marked candles → defuse them

Stopping at the map leaves the actual objective unfinished.

Do Not Waste Resources on the Special-Gear Achievements

Two achievements involve special gear:

Shop Till You Drop asks you to buy a special piece from the town merchant, while Strike While it’s Hot asks you to re-roll one.

Neither is a reason to burn resources on bad equipment.

For the purchase, wait until the merchant has a special that is at least usable. For the re-roll, choose a piece you might realistically keep. The achievement may register on disposable gear, but the currency spent improving that item is still gone afterward.

If you are deciding whether the item deserves further investment, compare the actual weapon setup in best builds.

Regional Side Achievements Are Easier After Travel Opens

Several achievements are tied to a named location rather than a long-term counter:

  • Scrapping over Scraps — bring Illager copper to Puddle Pond
  • Spider Slayer — rescue the Cleric’s Apprentice in Howling Woods
  • Code Cracker — finish the secret Illager code in Frozen Highlands
  • Wobble Watcher — find the lost Wobbles around Singer’s Meadow
  • Guardian of the Golems — drive off the Illagers near Echo Den
  • Choir Conductor — wake the Echo Golems in Lullaby Hills
  • Carapace Explorer — enter a humbler husk

Take these when the objective naturally appears in front of you, but do not assume an unfinished regional achievement means the main story is blocked.

That distinction matters most in the Sift. Receiving the Gift of Song can happen while Wobble Watcher is still incomplete; defeating the Monarch can happen before Choir Conductor is finished; and optional Echo Den work does not replace the route toward Lullaby Hills.

For the actual Sift progression through Singer’s Meadow, Tuners, Humbler Huskland, Echo Den, and Lullaby Hills, use The Sift guide rather than treating every achievement marker as a mandatory step.

Regicide Only Needs the Monarch Kill

Regicide is simpler than the route around it makes it look.

Defeat the Monarch during the later Sift progression and the achievement requirement is satisfied.

The Monarch can recover health and the arena can add extra pressure, but Regicide only requires the kill. If the Monarch itself is stopping you, fix the fight mechanics and retry setup before making another attempt.

Mystic Librarian Is Better as a Cleanup Goal

Mystic Librarian requires every Enchantment Book.

Because collected Books remain useful beyond the item you are currently wearing, picking them up during normal progression is never wasted progress. That still does not mean you need to abandon the active story route every time another possible Book source appears.

Enchantment Books collection in Minecraft Dungeons II
Mystic Librarian is a full-collection objective, so normal story pickups are useful progress even when you leave the final missing Books for cleanup.

Rifts and Dungeons remain useful after the campaign, which lets the remaining Books overlap with gear and post-story progression instead of becoming an isolated collection grind.

For Book behavior, upgrade ranks, and where the investment actually matters, use the enchantments guide.

Track Record: Activate Stations When You First Reach Them

Track Record requires all Minecart Stations to be activated.

Seeing a station or revealing its surrounding area does not replace the activation itself.

Activated Minecart Station in Minecraft Dungeons II
Activating stations during the story both progresses Track Record and makes later achievement cleanup much faster.

This is one achievement where doing a tiny bit of work early directly saves time later. Whenever the main route reaches a station, activate it before moving on.

If Track Record is still incomplete after the ending, use the map guide to narrow the search to regions and travel routes you may have skipped instead of walking the same early areas repeatedly.

Code Cracker Does Not Block the Frozen Highlands Story

Code Cracker belongs to Frozen Highlands, but it is optional relative to the main Prime Enchanter progression.

Frozen Highlands in Minecraft Dungeons II
Code Cracker is an optional Frozen Highlands completion objective rather than a requirement for reaching the main boss.

If your goal is still to finish the campaign, continue the active Frozen Highlands objective and return for the code later.

Do not spend time searching the fortress for a story trigger simply because Code Cracker is still locked.

Level 50 Happens Naturally; Level 100 Is a Different Commitment

The two level achievements are:

Expert Explorer — reach level 50
Venerable Voyager — reach level 100

Level 50 can arrive around the end of the main progression depending on how much optional content you complete.

Level 100 is the one I would expect to remain much longer. Most story achievements and several regional objectives overlap things you were already doing, while level 100 continues asking for experience after many of those boxes are already checked.

Use remaining side quests, Rifts, Dungeons, Soul Storms, missing Books, Minecart cleanup, and gear work to keep the experience bar moving before switching to a pure level grind.

If level 100 is still far away, keep gaining experience through Soul Storms, Rifts, and Dungeons while finishing the remaining objectives.

Maxed Out and Geared Up Should Wait for Stable Equipment

Maxed Out and Geared Up requires the equipped weapons and armor to have level-3 enchantments.

This costs much more than getting a single level-3 enchantment for Worked Like a Charm, so early gear churn matters.

If a weapon or armor piece is still being replaced every region, maxing it just to move this achievement forward is poor timing. Wait until the loadout has become stable enough that those upgrades are likely to stay equipped, then work across the required slots together.

Before committing the final level-3 upgrades, compare the enchantment costs, triggers, and rank scaling on the gear you plan to keep.

Start Y-Axis Unlocked Long Before the Final Cleanup

Y-Axis Unlocked needs 1,000 enemies defeated with jump attacks.

The important part is the killing blow. Simply jumping during combat is not enough if another damage effect finishes the enemy instead.

Leaving all 1,000 kills until every other achievement is finished turns this into an unnecessary standalone grind. Start adding jump kills during normal quests, Book hunting, regional cleanup, station runs, and level progression.

This does not mean forcing jump attacks onto a weapon that performs badly with them. Some weapons naturally fit a jump-heavy rhythm much better than others, so use the best builds guide when choosing a setup for the long counter.

Best Achievement Cleanup Order After the Ending

Once Defender of Dimensions is complete, I clean up the list by combining objectives rather than chasing one achievement at a time.

Start with the named regional objectives in Honeycomb Fields, Howling Woods, Puddle Pond, Frozen Highlands, Singer’s Meadow, Echo Den, and Lullaby Hills. During those trips, activate any missing Minecart Stations and open every chest you pass.

Next, use Rifts, Dungeons, and post-story activities to finish the Enchantment Book collection while continuing to gain experience. Once the gear you actually want to keep has stabilized, complete the level-3 enchantment and Talisman requirements instead of upgrading temporary equipment.

Keep jump attacks contributing to Y-Axis Unlocked throughout all of that work.

By the time the regional objectives, Books, stations, gear upgrades, and chest count are done, Venerable Voyager and the 1,000 jump kills should be much closer than they would have been if either had been farmed in isolation.

Only then is it worth separating whichever single counter or location is still missing.
