Ghost of Yotei Echoes of Sekigahara: All 12 Trophies

Quick Answer

Echoes of Sekigahara has 12 trophies. The numbered requirements are 4 Viper Storehouses, 5 dye trade routes, 4 new cooking recipes, 3 Zeni Hajiki wins, and 3 Gambler’s Mark kills.

The easiest trophies to miss are Free Bird, Unbreakable, Return to Sender, Pack Hunter, and Not This Time, so handle those encounters while Viper enemies and traps are still available.

Most of the Echoes trophy list can be completed while moving through Ashoro Foothills, but several conditions require a specific action rather than simply finishing the nearby activity.

The two story trophies come naturally as Atsu and Nagato’s route reaches its conclusion. The rest are worth checking before every Viper camp disappears, especially Catch Arrow, Call of the Pack, Gambler’s Mark, and trap disarming.

Food for the People: All 4 Viper Storehouse Locations

A Viper Storehouse is not complete when the final enemy dies.

Get to the stolen supplies, finish the Storehouse objective, then fire the flare when prompted so the supplies can be handed over to the people helping Ashoro Springs.

One of the early Storehouses also teaches you how to deal with a blocked supply room. If an ordinary weapon cannot break the barrier, use the nearby Massive Weapon.

One Storehouse keeps its stolen supplies behind a barrier that can be broken with the nearby Massive Weapon.

There are four Storehouses across Ashoro.

Storehouse Near Howling Waters

This Storehouse is in the northern part of Ashoro, around the Howling Waters and Moashoro River side of the region.

Storehouse Near Shari Fields

Another Storehouse sits around the Shari Fields, north of the central Shrouded Claw area.

Storehouse Near Shrouded Claw

The third location is around Shrouded Claw, close to the routes connecting the central part of Ashoro with Akan Woodlands.

Storehouse in Akan Woodlands

The remaining Storehouse is farther south around Akan Woodlands.

After securing each one, wait until the objective has fully resolved before leaving. If Food for the People is still short of 4/4, revisit the location where you cleared enemies but did not complete the supply handover.

Paths to Color: Purchase All 5 Dye Trade Routes

The Colorful Dye Merchant’s trophy condition is about trade routes, not the number of individual dyes you purchase.

Ashoro’s food shortage has disrupted supply runs to other dye masters. As the region recovers, return to the Colorful Dye Merchant and purchase each route that becomes available.

The Colorful Dye Merchant cannot maintain every connection while Ashoro's supply network is still disrupted.

You need 5 trade routes in total.

If the counter is still below 5/5 and no new route is available, continue helping Ashoro and return later rather than buying unrelated cosmetic dyes. The trophy follows the trade-route purchases themselves.

Hungry for More: All 4 New Cooking Recipes

There are four new recipes required for Hungry for More:

Sweet Mushroom Stew grants Fortune’s Headhunter.

Savory Mushroom Stew grants Potent Malady.

Aromatic Fish grants Thick Skin.

Savory Fish Stew grants Lingering Malady.

Each one produces a Cooking Recipe Discovered! message and becomes available when camping.

The four recipe pickups are spread across Ashoro rather than coming from repeatedly cooking at the same camp.

Recipe Location Near Moashoro River

One recipe is found around the Moashoro River side of Ashoro.

Discovering Savory Fish Stew can complete the set and trigger Hungry for More when it is the final missing recipe.

The Hungry for More trophy unlocks when the fourth new cooking recipe is discovered.

Cooking an existing recipe again does not advance the requirement. If the trophy has not unlocked, compare the recipes you already know against the four names above and visit the remaining pickup location.

Mother of Misfortune: Win 3 Games at Fortune’s Asobiya

Go to Fortune’s Asobiya and continue the Zeni Hajiki encounter there.

The trophy requires three wins against the opponent tied to this encounter, not three victories against unrelated Zeni Hajiki players around Ezo.

Mother of Misfortune is completed through the three-game challenge at Fortune's Asobiya.

Later boards can become more crowded with cups and snake pieces, reducing the angles available for clean shots. Controlled flicks are safer than trying to hit every coin with maximum force.

Stay with the encounter after the first victory. The trophy does not unlock until all three games are won.

Free Bird: Release the Golden Bird During A Buried Promise

The Golden Bird appears during A Buried Promise, on the route toward Hunter’s Rest Shrine.

When Atsu notices that the bird is in trouble, follow the encounter into the nearby Viper-controlled area.

The Golden Bird remains captive until Atsu returns to the cage and releases it.

Clearing the surrounding Vipers is not enough.

Return to the cage after the fight and interact with the bird. If you rode away immediately after combat, return before assuming the trophy is bugged.

The same section appears in the Ashoro Foothills walkthrough as part of the route through A Buried Promise.

Unbreakable: Complete the Specific Warrior Encounter

Do not farm ordinary armored Vipers for Unbreakable.

After one of the early Storehouse sequences, Atsu can run into the warrior connected to the Unbreakable name. The conversation turns into a direct fight.

Defeat that warrior and finish the encounter.

Heavy Vipers encountered elsewhere in Ashoro do not substitute for this fight, even when they require a Massive Weapon or resist normal stagger.

Handsome Yet Deadly: Get 3 Gambler’s Mark Kills

Handsome Yet Deadly requires three enemies to die from Gambler’s Mark.

Set this up against normal enemies rather than armored targets. Damage several Vipers until they are close to death, activate Gambler’s Mark, and let the marked shots finish them.

The counter is cumulative, so all three kills do not need to happen in one activation.

If a marked shot only damages the enemy and another attack gets the kill, that enemy does not help with the requirement.

Return to Sender: Catch an Arrow and Kill With It

Catching an arrow is only the first half of Return to Sender.

Once Catch Arrow is available, face a basic archer and leave a low-health enemy nearby. Catch the incoming shot during the timing window and send it back.

Catch Arrow technique in Ghost of Yotei Echoes of Sekigahara
The returned arrow has to deliver the killing hit for Return to Sender.

If the returned arrow only deals damage and you finish the target with a sword, the condition has not been completed.

Do this before every Viper camp is cleared. Active camps provide far more archers and controllable targets than the region does after a full cleanup.

Pack Hunter: Let Call of the Pack Get the Final Hit

For Pack Hunter, the wolf attack itself must defeat the enemy.

Choose a normal Viper and reduce their health until one more attack should finish them. Activate Call of the Pack, stop attacking, and let the summoned wolf deliver the final hit.

If Atsu lands the killing blow first, repeat the setup on another enemy.

Not This Time: Disarm a Viper Trap Before Triggering It

Look for trip lines and other traps around Viper paths and camp entrances.

Approach an intact trap carefully and use the disarm interaction before crossing it.

If the trap fires, starts a flame effect, launches arrows, or alerts the camp, it is already too late for that trap. Find another intact one.

This is easier outside combat, when enemies are not forcing Atsu through the same narrow approach.

You Are My Ghost and No More Snakes

These two trophies come from progressing through the Ashoro story.

You Are My Ghost is tied to Atsu and Nagato’s Sekigahara memories, while No More Snakes comes from resolving the Viper conflict in Ashoro Foothills.

Continue the Ashoro Foothills walkthrough through Dream’s End if either one is still missing. Recipes, dye routes, or additional combat kills do not replace unfinished story progress.

Clean Up the Remaining Trophies After Dream’s End

Once Dream’s End is complete, check the numbered requirements before riding around Ashoro again.

Finish any remaining Storehouses first, then return to the Colorful Dye Merchant for missing trade routes. Compare your known cooking recipes against the four names above, finish the Fortune’s Asobiya games, and revisit the Golden Bird or Unbreakable encounter if either was skipped.

Use the remaining Viper camps for Gambler’s Mark, Catch Arrow, Call of the Pack, and trap disarming before clearing every hostile position. Those conditions are easier while Ashoro still has groups of ordinary enemies, archers, and intact traps.
