Two Point Museum: Rides & Relics introduces Riquetti Gardens, where historic Funfair exhibits become working attractions. You recover ride designs from Gearbox Fairgrounds, build customizable Roller Coasters, entertain guests with Mascots, and develop the museum through five campaign stars.
The opening is best approached with a small working Funfair rather than a large, unfinished amusement park. Recover the first attraction before purchasing extra land, then expand when a new Blueprint or museum objective gives you a specific reason to build.
In Campaign Mode, Riquetti Gardens unlocks after completing Act 1 of Memento Mile. The new content is available from the beginning in Sandbox Mode.
You can also try part of Rides & Relics without purchasing the expansion. The free game update includes:
This content remains part of the base game rather than disappearing after a limited trial.
The complete Riquetti Gardens campaign, including its remaining four stars and advanced attractions, requires the full Rides & Relics DLC.
Your first important expedition is Gearbox Plaza, where you obtain the Carousel Blueprint.
Start with a Helipad and a Funfair Expert. Once the expedition returns, recover the design and construct your first Funfair attraction. The opening objectives also introduce the Assistant and Staff Room facilities needed to support the museum.
Avoid spending most of your available money on outdoor expansion at this point. The first plot still has to support guests and staff, and later Roller Coasters occupy far more space than the opening Carousel.
The next milestone is earning your first star while developing the initial Gearbox Fairgrounds locations. The Riquetti Gardens five-star walkthrough provides the exact objectives, including the queue, decoration, guest, Museum Level, and later campaign requirements.
Mascots use qualified Assistants to entertain visitors and provide additional benefits to exhibits.
You unlock the Mascot facility during the early Riquetti Gardens progression. A costume alone will not create a working Mascot: an eligible Assistant must be assigned to perform the role.
Build a Mascot Menagerie once the facility becomes available.
To activate your first Mascot:
The distinction between costume selection and exhibit assignment is important. Mascot Costume determines which character the Assistant wears. Specify Exhibits controls where that Mascot works.
Without a specified assignment, Mascots roam around the museum.
Different Mascots provide different benefits, so choose one that improves the attractions your guests are actually visiting.
For example, Gearbag has this effect:
Increases guest Buzz from Funfair exhibits.
That makes Gearbag a useful choice at Riquetti Gardens, where visitors spend time experiencing Funfair attractions.
You can assign Gearbag to particular exhibits through Specify Exhibits instead of relying entirely on museum-wide roaming.
Other costumes have their own effects. Inspect the selected costume’s Gameplay Effects before assigning it, particularly when you want to improve a museum theme outside the Funfair.
Special Mascot expedition locations appear across Two Point County, not just in Gearbox Fairgrounds.
Examples include:
These destinations provide theme-specific Mascot rewards. If you want a costume for another exhibit collection, inspect the relevant county expedition map before sending a team.
You don’t need every costume to begin using Mascots. Start with an available character that benefits your current museum.
If the Menagerie displays Assistant required with Mascot Mastery qualification, the selected role is missing an eligible employee.
Check the Assistant’s qualification first, then return to the Staff section and assign them.
If a qualified Assistant has been assigned but the Mascot isn’t appearing, check whether the employee is available and whether the Menagerie can be reached. Also inspect the current costume and exhibit assignments.
An incomplete assignment will not be fixed by collecting more costumes.
For a larger museum, additional Menageries and qualified Assistants allow more Mascots to operate in different areas. Get the first assignment working before expanding the system.
Active Mascots also contribute toward the guest entertainment challenge in the Rides & Relics achievements.
New attractions are primarily recovered as Blueprints from Gearbox Fairgrounds.
If a ride is missing from the construction options, inspect its expedition location before buying another plot. Some designs are available through early destinations, while advanced rewards require better Blueprint progression or qualified staff.
The Gearbox Fairgrounds POI and Blueprint guide covers ride locations, expedition costs, Blueprint Levels, and the requirements for opening later areas.
Once you have a custom Coaster design, construction presents a different challenge. Tracks need a valid closed circuit and sufficient momentum, and the finished ride has separate Thrill, Ferocity, and Nausea values.
For the first Monobeast Metro or a later Coaster that will not complete its track, follow the Roller Coaster construction and Thrill guide.
The campaign progresses from basic Funfair construction to guest satisfaction, Blueprint improvements, more demanding Coasters, and Angus Gearbox’s final invention, Reason’s Edge.
When a star isn’t progressing, read the specific incomplete objective before expanding the museum. A missing attraction, insufficient guest reviews, and a staff qualification requirement each need different actions.
Use the Riquetti Gardens walkthrough to work through the five campaign stars in order.
Beyond the campaign, Rides & Relics includes five achievements involving different displayed Funfair exhibits, Mascot entertainment, a high-Thrill Coaster, Ribbons, and Chapter 5 completion. The five Rides & Relics achievements provide the conditions for finishing those challenges.
