How Do You Unlock All 53 Achievements in Nomad Drive?
Track all 53 Nomad Drive achievements, including three hidden achievements, with a completion checklist and routes for survival, vehicles, treasure, farming, and multiplayer.

Quick Answer
Start a world, assemble and drive your first vehicle, then complete the easy repair, furnishing, cooking, and exploration achievements while traveling. Keep the same world for True Nomad (30 days), track your collections as you find them, and arrange multiplayer sessions for the co-op achievements.
Nomad Drive has 53 Steam achievements, including three hidden achievements. The biggest obstacle to reaching 100% is not one particularly difficult task. It is the combination of long-term survival, collections scattered across multiple stops, vehicle-related actions, and achievements that require other players.
Several goals can be completed together. Every roadside stop can contribute toward Crowbar Diplomacy, Treasure Hunter, and Locksmith. The same continuing world can support your 7-day and 30-day survival goals while you grow plants, cook meals, and collect cassettes.
Other achievements require a deliberate change in activity. Hosting a session will not automatically complete the achievement for joining a friend, and completing every vehicle upgrade is a different task from simply fitting a working set of parts.
The checklist below keeps all 53 requirements separate. Mark an achievement when it unlocks, and use the incomplete filter to see which tasks remain.

Driving, Repairs & Vehicle Upgrades — 10 10 remaining 0 / 10
Exploration, Treasure & Weather — 10 10 remaining 0 / 10
Survival, Cooking & Gardening — 17 17 remaining 0 / 17
RV Living, Paint & Collections — 8 8 remaining 0 / 8
Multiplayer, Revives & Chickens — 8 8 remaining 0 / 8
Mark achievements after they unlock. Your progress saves locally in this browser. Use search and the status filter to find unfinished goals.
The tracker includes the three hidden achievements: Radiator Fluid, Iron Stomach, and Chicken Coop. Their requirements are shown in the checklist so they can be completed alongside the remaining goals.
A useful way to approach 100% is to finish actions that naturally happen during your first trip, then concentrate on accumulating the larger totals. Multiplayer and weather conditions can be handled when the necessary players or circumstances are available.
Which Achievements Can You Unlock on Your First Road Trip?
Your opening vehicle provides several opportunities before you have traveled very far.
Turn the Key requires starting an engine from the driver’s seat. Home on Wheels only needs you to place one item inside the vehicle. These are among the simplest goals to complete while preparing to leave.
Road Ready is different: every vehicle part slot must be filled. A vehicle that starts and moves may still have an unoccupied part slot, so being able to drive is not sufficient evidence that this achievement should unlock.
Inspect the vehicle and finish its required equipment. The beginner walkthrough covers the initial assembly, finding missing components, and getting the first vehicle moving.
Make Your First Stop Count
Before leaving the first useful roadside location, look for opportunities to complete these achievements together:
- Breaking and Entering: Open one door with a crowbar.
- Blueprint Reader: Use a blueprint to unlock a vehicle upgrade.
- Mixtape: Place a soundtrack cassette into a radio.
- Grease Monkey: Repair one vehicle part with the appropriate equipment.
- Patched Up: Heal an injury using a first aid kit.
For Blueprint Reader, finding a Ladder or Roof Rack Blueprint is not enough. Use it on a compatible vehicle to unlock the upgrade. Keep this separate from Grease Monkey, which requires repairing an existing vehicle part rather than installing an upgrade.
Out of Gas Does Not Require an Empty Tank
Out of Gas is awarded for pushing a vehicle by hand.
The name can be misleading. Its stated requirement is the push action, not exhausting every liter of fuel first.
A stranded vehicle with a badly damaged engine was successfully pushed toward a nearby building during one road trip. The players used the road’s slope to help it roll after discovering that the engine was unusable.
That gives you an opportunity to earn the achievement during a breakdown instead of deliberately emptying your fuel tank.
Crash Test Dummy is another driving-related achievement, requiring you to ride through a heavy crash. Ordinary braking or a minor collision is not the same stated condition. Leave this for a controlled attempt after securing your important supplies rather than risking a heavily stocked RV during early exploration.
Complete the Repeated Tasks While Exploring
Five achievements reward repeated actions that naturally occur at roadside stops:
- Crowbar Diplomacy: Pry open 25 doors.
- Treasure Hunter: Dig up 10 buried treasures.
- Locksmith: Open 10 locked chests.
- Master Mechanic: Repair 25 vehicle parts.
- Custom Shop: Fully paint 20 vehicle parts.
Each has an earlier, smaller achievement associated with the same activity. Complete the first action as soon as you have the tools, then continue accumulating the total while playing normally.
Combine Treasure Hunter With Locksmith
Treasure Hunter requires digging up 10 buried treasures, while Locksmith requires opening 10 locked chests. Uncovering a chest does not complete the lock-opening requirement.
Whenever you find a buried container, finish opening it if you have the appropriate key. The treasure and metal detector instructions cover finding the chest, digging it up, and dealing with its lock.
Complete Master Mechanic Through Useful Repairs
Master Mechanic requires repairing 25 vehicle parts. Replacing a damaged component with another one is not the same as repairing it, so count successful repair actions rather than every part you install.
Use repair equipment as your engine, tires, and other components deteriorate during travel. There is little benefit in deliberately damaging valuable equipment when normal maintenance can contribute toward the total.
For the appropriate tools and repair decisions, see the RV repair instructions.
Full Paint Jobs Matter for Custom Shop
Fresh Coat requires fully painting one vehicle part. Custom Shop raises that target to 20 fully painted parts.
Spray paint can be found at roadside locations, and cleaning or polishing equipment can be used while preparing a vehicle for customization.
During an early trip, a player discovered that polishing an already painted section could remove the paint. That created additional work because the surface needed to be repainted afterward.
Finish the cleaning and polishing you want to do before applying your final paint.
The achievement wording emphasizes fully painted parts. Spraying a small patch of color onto numerous surfaces is not the same as completing each part.
Collect paint supplies during ordinary exploration, then do the larger customization job once you have enough materials and a vehicle you intend to keep.
Keep One World Going for 30 Days
First Night requires surviving one full day, A Week on the Road requires seven days, and True Nomad requires 30 days in one world.
Keep returning to the same world while completing other achievements. The requirement measures survival days, not driving distance, so a long road trip does not replace the time needed for True Nomad. Starting a new world for every vehicle experiment also interrupts the continuity of your chosen 30-day run.
What Should You Do During the 30-Day Run?
Use the extended survival period to work on tasks that require repeated activity or waiting:
- Grow plants and collect mature harvests.
- Cook meals and prepare drinks.
- Visit remaining biomes.
- Find additional cassette tapes and vehicle upgrades.
- Accumulate repairs, opened chests, and photographed moments.
A long-running world gives these smaller activities a purpose instead of making the 30-day achievement an isolated waiting task.
Avoid abandoning a well-supplied world merely because the current RV has become damaged or inconvenient. Repairs and replacement vehicles can let you continue using the world where your survival progress is already accumulating.
The achievement descriptions do not establish a requirement to drive continuously, remain inside one particular vehicle, or survive 30 days without sleeping.
Cooking and Farming: Watch the Completion Condition
Several achievements use similar language but measure different outcomes.
For cooking, Home Cooking requires one meal cooked to perfection, while Road Chef requires 25. For gardening, Green Thumb and Rolling Garden count planting seeds; First Harvest and Mobile Farm require growing plants until they are ripe.
These distinctions matter because beginning an activity is not always enough to earn its completion achievement.
Cook 25 Meals to Perfection
Home Cooking requires one meal cooked to perfection; Road Chef requires 25. Have cooking equipment and ingredients ready, then pay attention to the finished cooking state rather than counting every item you place on the heat.
Extra Crispy has a different condition: eat burnt food. Complete that separately instead of deliberately burning meals intended for Road Chef.
Planting 25 Seeds Is Not the Same as Growing 10 Plants
Green Thumb requires planting your first seed. Rolling Garden extends the planting count to 25 seeds.
Meanwhile, First Harvest requires growing one plant until it becomes ripe, and Mobile Farm requires 10 plants to reach that condition.
Planting 25 seeds does not automatically satisfy Mobile Farm. The plants need enough time and care to reach the appropriate growth stage.
A practical sequence is to begin planting early in your main world, continue taking care of the plants while traveling and completing other objectives, and return to their growth progress before starting unnecessary new plantings.
Coffee Gives You Two Separate Goals
Morning Brew requires brewing a pot of coffee.
Wired requires maxing out a caffeine boost.
Coffee-making equipment and coffee supplies appear during roadside exploration. In one vehicle, the players stored a coffee machine and collected coffee before deciding to prepare drinks later.
Brewing a pot addresses Morning Brew. Wired requires reaching the maximum caffeine boost, which is a separate condition.
After preparing coffee, pay attention to your current caffeine effect rather than treating the first brewed pot as sufficient for both achievements.
The achievement description does not provide a fixed number of cups needed to reach maximum caffeine, so follow the displayed effect rather than assuming a universal quantity.
Find the Three Hidden Achievements
Three of the 53 achievements have concealed requirements.
They involve actions outside ordinary driving and collecting, and two concern consuming items you would normally avoid.
Radiator Fluid — Drink Coolant
Radiator Fluid is unlocked by drinking coolant.
This can happen accidentally when handling a coolant container near the vehicle. One player triggered the drinking action while intending to prepare the radiator.
Coolant is normally valuable for vehicle operation, so use a deliberate interaction only if you specifically want this hidden achievement. The normal first-road-trip task is transferring it into the radiator, not consuming it.
There is no requirement in the achievement description to empty an entire coolant container.
Iron Stomach — Eat Rotten Food
Iron Stomach requires eating rotten food.
Food condition is important here. Eating ordinary fresh food does not meet the stated requirement, and consuming burnt food is a different achievement.
Keep the attempt separate from normal survival meals so you can identify the correct item condition. Rotten food can carry consequences, so medical supplies are useful to have available before deliberately consuming it.
Chicken Coop — Have the Whole Crew Go Down
Chicken Coop requires the entire crew to go down at once.
The important detail is that every participating crew member must be down simultaneously. One player becoming incapacitated while teammates remain active is not enough for this hidden condition.
This objective is best considered separately from a long survival run that you are trying to preserve.
It also interacts with the multiplayer downed-player system, which has two additional achievements: Bawk! and No Chicken Left Behind.
Antidote: How to Cure Food Poisoning
Antidote requires curing food poisoning with medicine, not merely surviving after eating questionable food.
A player who ate a poisonous mushroom later took medicine and received the Antidote achievement. The action succeeded after the player had been affected by food poisoning.
That gives the achievement a straightforward sequence:
- Have appropriate medicine available.
- Become affected by food poisoning.
- Use the medicine to cure that condition.
- Check that the Antidote achievement has unlocked.
The treatment matters. Eating a poisonous mushroom by itself does not complete Antidote.
You can also use a first aid kit for Patched Up, but healing an ordinary injury is not necessarily the same interaction as curing food poisoning.
If you have already earned Antidote through accidental poisoning during normal gameplay, there is no benefit in exposing yourself to the condition again.
Photography: Say Cheese and Road Trip Album
Two achievements are tied to the Polaroid camera:
- Say Cheese: Take one photo.
- Road Trip Album: Take 50 photos.
The camera produces a physical photograph that can be picked up and placed in the vehicle.
During an early trip, players discovered a Polaroid camera, photographed another character, and found the resulting picture on the ground. The photograph could then be kept as an object inside the van.
For Say Cheese, take a picture with the camera. Merely finding or equipping it does not meet the stated requirement.
For Road Trip Album, the requirement increases to 50 photos. You can incorporate those into ordinary exploration rather than saving all of them for one separate activity.
Useful moments include reaching a different biome, changing vehicles, finishing a major upgrade, and decorating your RV.
The description specifies taking photographs. It does not state that you need to store all 50 printed photos inside the vehicle at the same time.
Greatest Hits, Fully Kitted, and Fleet Owner
These three achievements can remain unfinished long after the basic survival and driving requirements are complete.
They refer to every item or type in a collection rather than a fixed number of repeated actions.
Greatest Hits — Play Every Soundtrack Cassette
Nomad Drive lets you find soundtrack cassettes and insert them into a radio.
Mixtape unlocks after your first cassette is placed into a radio, but Greatest Hits requires playing every soundtrack cassette.
Multiple tapes can be collected at roadside locations. A player may also find duplicates while looting, so another cassette is not automatically one they have never played.
For a completion-focused run, keep track of the distinct tapes you have collected and actually played.
A simple personal list is more reliable than remembering which cassette was in the radio during an earlier trip. Store collected tapes somewhere accessible and work through the remaining titles when you have time.
The achievement requirement does not specify an exact total number of unique cassettes. Do not treat the number you happen to have collected as proof that the full set has been completed.
Fully Kitted — Unlock Every Vehicle Upgrade
Blueprint Reader is awarded after unlocking one vehicle upgrade. Fully Kitted requires unlocking every vehicle upgrade.
Blueprints such as the Ladder and Roof Rack can be found during exploration and used on compatible vehicles.
Keep checking buildings and containers for upgrades you have not yet unlocked. If you move to a larger RV, inspect how the available upgrades apply to that vehicle before discarding unused blueprints.
Vehicle parts and blueprints are not identical. Replacing an Engine II with an Engine III improves the installed equipment, but it does not by itself establish that a blueprint upgrade has been unlocked.
Because the achievement is about every unlock, maintain a record of the actual upgrades you have obtained rather than assuming that a fully equipped vehicle has completed Fully Kitted.
Fleet Owner — Drive Every Kind of Vehicle
Easy Rider requires riding the motorcycle.
Fleet Owner requires driving every kind of vehicle.
The world contains different drivable vehicles, including smaller vans, larger RVs, and a motorcycle. Finding a vehicle or taking its engine is not enough to satisfy the requirement to drive it.
When you encounter a drivable type that you have not previously used, check whether it can be made operational and take it for a drive before moving on.
One road trip involved abandoning the starter van after discovering a larger RV. Another included a school bus that the players considered for its parts instead of adopting as their main vehicle.
Those are natural opportunities to make progress toward Fleet Owner. You can evaluate a vehicle for the achievement without having to move your entire collection into it.
The available achievement description does not provide a complete named list of required vehicle types, so do not assume that driving a few familiar models is sufficient.
Globetrotter, Winter Is Here, and Storm Chaser
These achievements encourage continued exploration rather than remaining near the starting house.
Winter Is Here unlocks when you reach Winterland. Globetrotter requires visiting every biome, making Winterland one part of the wider exploration objective.
A road trip eventually reached the snow-covered region after passing through other environments. The vehicle slowed considerably on part of the approach, and the players checked their equipment while continuing toward the next location.
There is no requirement in the description to finish a particular mission inside Winterland. Reaching the biome is the stated condition for Winter Is Here.
Globetrotter is broader. Visiting Winterland does not automatically mean every other biome has been entered.
Weather All Three Storm Types
Storm Chaser requires experiencing three specific conditions:
- A thunderstorm.
- A blizzard.
- A sandstorm.
Ordinary rain is not automatically equivalent to a thunderstorm, and snowfall does not necessarily mean the required blizzard event has occurred.
These weather events may happen during longer trips. If you are already working on True Nomad, keep traveling and pay attention to the conditions you encounter rather than treating Storm Chaser as a separate timed mission.
Too Close for Comfort has a much more precise requirement: be within 250 meters of a lightning strike.
That is not the same as merely seeing lightning in the distance. The stated condition concerns proximity to an actual strike.
There is no guaranteed distance or weather-event trigger described for forcing a particular strike location, so ordinary thunderstorms provide an opportunity to make progress, not a guaranteed unlock.
Multiplayer: Host, Join, Revive, and Play With Four People
Eight achievements involve multiplayer actions or the downed-player system.
Several can be arranged during a planned session with friends, but they are not all interchangeable.
Host and Join Are Different Actions
Convoy Leader requires hosting a game with a friend.
Hitchhiker requires joining a friend’s game.
If you only host sessions, do not assume Hitchhiker has also been completed. Swap hosting roles so that you join another player’s world at least once.
Breaker Breaker requires sending a chat message. Use the game’s chat system for the achievement instead of relying on an external voice application.
Full House Requires Four Players
Full House specifies a session with 4 players.
Arrange a session with four participating players rather than relying on ordinary two-player co-op. Once everyone has joined, you can also coordinate the hidden Chicken Coop condition, which requires the entire crew to go down at once.
Bawk!, No Chicken Left Behind, and Field Medic
The downed-player system connects three achievements:
- Bawk!: Go down and turn into a chicken.
- No Chicken Left Behind: Revive a teammate once.
- Field Medic: Revive teammates 10 times.
A revival requires another player to be available to help. Going down by yourself does not automatically award the teammate-revival achievements.
For Field Medic, focus on completing the required revival interactions while playing cooperatively rather than assuming that merely having ten downed events is sufficient.
Chicken Coop needs a different result: the whole crew must be down simultaneously.
That means reviving someone too early may prevent the hidden condition from being satisfied. Coordinate the intended objective with your teammates before attempting it.
