Boss Battle: Matilda (East Tower)
At the top of the tower (Timestamp 11:10), Matilda reveals her true identity as the sister of the legendary hero Palna. To break the seal binding the island, she forces you to fight her.

After the battle, Patrick uses the Wooden Doll (from Part 3) to reach Matilda's heart. She chooses to sacrifice herself to lift the curse.
Return to the Present
With the seal broken, use the portal to return to the Shrine of Mysteries. The Spirit Guide confirms that the land of Rexwood has been restored in the present day.

This is the core loop of Dragon Quest VII:
1. Travel to the Past (Gray World).
2. Solve the problem / Beat the Boss.
3. Return to the Present to find a new island has appeared on the map.
Unlocking the Ship
Back in Fishbel (32:58), head to the Secret Cove on the outskirts of the village. Push the rock slab aside to reveal the fully repaired ship.
The Red Fragment (End of Demo)
Sail east to the present-day Rexwood continent. While the village is peaceful, your goal is the Colorstone Mine. Deep inside (52:00), you will find the Red Fragment.
