1 The Dark Port (Past): Palace Setup
Buccanham’s “darkness” is not a maze problem—it’s a story flag problem. Your first task is to make the game explicitly tell you: “Go get Prism Dew.”
Priority Objective
Past Buccanham → Palace → talk to the Pirate King / key NPCs until the “Prism Dew” objective is locked in.
Common Mistake
Players run straight to the cave, but the cave/boss may not “behave” correctly until the palace flag is set.
2 Dwarf’s Cave: Prism Dew Location
This cave is a straight push with a payoff at the end. Your goal is the deepest chamber and the guardian fight.
Route Tips
- Stick to the “main descent” paths—side pockets are usually optional loot.
- If you hit a dead end, you likely missed a ladder/rope path on the previous screen.
- Save before the deepest chamber—guardian can spike damage.
Reward
Defeat the guardian → obtain Prism Dew (key item used at the Beacon).
3 The Sea Beacon + Boss: Event Chain
Prism Dew is not “loot”—it’s a trigger. Use it at the Beacon summit, then follow the chain to the boss/event.
Softlock-looking state: If you used Prism Dew but darkness persists, you almost always left before the post-ignite flag finished or never had the palace objective.
4 The Pirate’s Legacy (Present): Quick Sweep
Present Buccanham is primarily a reward hub. The “win condition” here is confirming the restored state and shopping upgrades.
Do This (Fast)
- Check the Beacon in Present to confirm it’s restored.
- Scan shops/casino for strong gear upgrades.
- Talk to key NPCs for “state changed” confirmation dialogue.
No fragments?
Right—this chapter is key item progression. Treat Prism Dew as the chapter collectible.
