Fast Route: Minimal Prep → Safe Win

Step 01 Stabilize First

Treat this as a tempo fight. If the team isn’t stable, you’re not allowed to attack.

Step 02 Answer Threats

When the key threat turn happens, respond immediately (heal/mitigate/revive).

Step 03 Use Safe Plan Loop

Run a consistent loop until you see clean punish windows.

Step 04 Win + Save

After the win, stabilize your route (save / re-check next steps).

Not a wiki recap
Hybris is a pivot fight: the real test is switching from attack-first instincts to pressure-control first. The clearest danger signal is sustained pressure that forces your healer into repeated emergency turns—if you don’t reduce incoming damage, you drown. Most wipes happen in two chains: (1) opening without mitigation → party stays low → repeated pressure deletes someone → spiral, and (2) trying to out-damage pressure → healer falls behind → collapse. Misconception to fix: you don’t beat Hybris by racing; you beat him by making pressure manageable first, then pushing on safe turns.

🧭 Safe plan

Stable, repeatable, low-variance win route.

Consistency beats greed
  • Open by lowering incoming pressure (mitigation first).
  • After spikes: recover immediately—don’t chase damage on unstable turns.
  • If you’re falling behind: simplify your loop (mitigate → stabilize → damage).

⚠️ Key threats

Treat these as must-answer turns. If you wipe, it’s usually one of these.

Respond immediately
Sustained pressure that forces emergency healing repeatedly
Trying to out-damage pressure before stabilizing
Revive loops after a double drop
Pressure Pivot Recovery

🧭 Decision Tree: What to do when you wipe

Conditional rules you can actually run mid-fight. Built to avoid “generic wiki advice.”

Debug → adjust → retry
If: You’re spending consecutive turns in emergency healing

Then: You’re behind—add mitigation and stabilize the party before resuming damage.

If: A member drops and the rest are low

Then: Stabilize survivors first; revive when you can survive the next enemy action.

If: You feel forced to gamble every turn

Then: Simplify to a safe loop for 2 turns: mitigate → stabilize → resume damage.
