There are two ways into In the Jungle.
The story route uses a completed save. Load a completed Epilogue / main story ending save, go to the Blue Hole boat, trigger Dr. Bacon, convince Bancho, then use the phone to Call Dr. Bacon. The fast route is New Game → Skip to Jungle, which lets you enter the DLC without finishing the base game first.

The opening route is Chapter 1: The Village with Bad Food.
This chapter is not only a story setup. It teaches the DLC’s first core loop: new village, new lake, new gun, local food problem, Bancho’s first dish, Bancho Grill, and the Purification Filter handoff into Chapter 2.

The Jungle Gun is the DLC’s main lake weapon.
It switches between Basic Rifle, Basic Shotgun, Basic Sniper, and Jungle Net Gun. The important choice is matching the form to the problem: Rifle for stable damage, Net Gun for live captures, Sniper for range and armor-piercing, and Shotgun for close pressure.

Bancho Grill is the DLC’s new restaurant system.
It is not just Bancho Sushi in a jungle skin. Dave runs around a wider isometric-style service floor, serves food and drinks, handles skewers, earns Doni and Artisan’s Flame, raises Rating, reacts to disruptions like monkeys, and eventually works with staff such as Yasuto.

The Fishing Rod route is not one vague big-catfish quest.
Basu’s route starts with The Walking Catfish in the Mud, which asks for 3 Walking Catfish alive. Later, Basu asks for Piraiba Catfish from Lake 35–75m. Bring back Piraiba Catfish meat, then Basu gives Dave the Fishing Rod and starter fishing setup.

Muna gives Dave the Jungle Gun before the first proper Utara Lake dive. It switches between Basic Rifle, Basic Shotgun, Basic Sniper, and Jungle Net Gun.
Finish the opening food route with Tilapia, Calamansi, and Lemongrass, then serve the village chief. Bancho Grill opens during the Chapter 1 closing sequence.
